Lessick & Lincoln & Cohen
Lessick & Lincoln & Cohen
An acoustic trio, L&L&C's sound lies somewhere between folk and rock. Having sung together for over 30 years, Steve Lessick & Rob Lincoln have developed a unique and powerful harmony rich vocal sound that is like no other. With his one in a million voice that is immediately distinctive, Lessick sings both lead and harmony to Rob Lincoln's songs while playing a subtle yet powerful percussion and drum kit. Ambient composer multi-instrumentalist Art Cohen adds his Phil Lesh influenced bass playing to the sound. Lincoln, who recently released a 300 song album, is a prolific and varied songwriter whose catchy songs are being sung around the Philadelphia region. The Lords have performed on NPR's acclaimed Mountain Stage radio show, were awarded honorable mention in the 2014 Falcon Ridge Folk Festival Emerging Artist Showcase, and have opened for musical stalwarts like Brett Dennen, Buckwheat Zydeco, Elephant Revival, and Aztec Two-Step.
CubiZm
CubiZm
Patti Smith meets Joni Mitchell, singer-songwriter Heidi Wolfson is a poet with a guitar whose words capture life in a personal yet totally universal way. Backed by seasoned musicians Art Cohen and Steve Lessick, CubiZm has a distinctly edgy sound. Heidi's passionate singing and smart, deeply felt, personal songs are supported by Art's electric guitar wizardry and Steve's spot-on percussion and backing vocals. CubiZm is in the studio currently working on their second CD.
